Qatar Postal Services Company “Qatar Post,” in collaboration with Joan Bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies, has announced the issuance of a special postage stamp for the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Joan Bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies. This stamp serves as a testament to the academy’s significance and prominent role in military sciences, including defense, strategy, administration, and security aspects.
The release includes a set of four stamps representing the logo of Joan Bin Jassim Academy for Defence Studies, the logos of the National Defense College and the Joint Command and Staff College, and the academy building. Additionally, 5,000 souvenir cards are being issued, with the complete set priced at 20 Qatari Riyals, and individual souvenir cards at 10 Qatari Riyals. The stamps are designed to reflect aspects of the academy’s history and achievements in defense studies, using colors and shapes inspired by the academy’s logo.
Philatelic collectors and souvenir card enthusiasts can obtain them from the philatelic service Office at the General post office.
