In a gesture that celebrates both partnership and history, Qatar Postal Services Company “Qatar Post” has announced the release of a special collection of stamps in collaboration with SICO, commemorating the 55th anniversary of the company’s founding. These stamps are not just a means of recording history; they are a work of art that encapsulates the achievements of SICO, which have become an integral part of Qatar’s architectural identity.
Available to the public from Thursday, August 15, 2024, this unique collection is inspired by SICO’s long and distinguished journey in architecture and construction. Over the past five and a half decades, SICO has left its mark on Qatar’s urban landscape through pioneering projects that have earned prestigious global and regional awards.
The collection consists of eight artistic stamps, priced at 17.50 QAR for the complete set. Only 10,000 sets have been printed, making it a rare collector’s item. Additionally, a First Day Cover will be available for 20 QAR, offering a unique addition to any stamp collection.
