As part of the celebration of World Post Day, which falls on October 9th each year under the theme “Together for Trust, collaborating for a Safe and Connected Future,” Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) honored the winners at the national level in the annual international competition for youth letter writing organized by Universal Postal Union (UPU). The competition targets students in the age group of 9 to 15 years. The theme of this year’s competition was ” “Imagine you are a superhero, and your mission is to make all roads around the world safer for children. Write a letter to someone explaining which superpowers you would need to achieve your mission. “
Qatar Post celebrated the winning students through an award ceremony held at the Qatar Post main building on the Corniche Street. The event was presided over by His Excellency Mr. Faleh Mohammed Al-Naemi – Chairman and Managing director, in the presence of department heads from Qatar Post, parents, and student supervisors. The ceremony took place at 9:00 AM on Monday, October 9, 2023.
On this occasion, Qatar Post encourages students to showcase their literary and writing skills at the international level and looks forward to their participation in the competition in the coming years.
