Qatar Post Business Gathering Event: A Strategic Role in Supporting Government and Private Sectors, Achieving Sustainability and Innovation

Qatar Postal Service Company (Qatar Post) organized the Business Gathering Event, which brought together representatives from various government entities and key sectors across the country. The forum highlighted Qatar Post’s role as National Postal Logistics provider as a local strategic partner. In addition to its contribution to supporting Qatar’s National Vision 2030 by delivering innovative and reliable solutions that meet customer needs.
The forum featured presentations on the latest innovations and developments in the postal and logistics sectors, with a focus on Qatar Post’s ongoing commitment to providing continuous support to its partners from government agencies and local and international companies. This was achieved by offering integrated national logistics solutions as a strategic local partner to both the government and private sectors. The forum also showcased fruitful collaborations and key projects with government ministries, streamlining government communications and logistics, such as with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Interior.
In his speech at the forum, His Excellency Mr. Faleh bin Mohammed Al-Naemi, Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Post, emphasized Qatar Post’s commitment to the highest standards of performance and efficiency in delivering its services. He noted, “Qatar Post has become a trusted partner for both institutions and individuals, and we continue to work diligently to meet our customers’ current needs and future aspirations.” He added, “What has been achieved so far is a significant step towards realizing our ambitious strategic vision, and we are fully confident in our ability to overcome future challenges and achieve further success in line with the national efforts to promote sustainable development.”
The forum concluded with a discussion on Qatar Post’s efforts to enhance sustainability, including the announcement of the final stage of its transition to a fully digital system, eliminating paper transactions. There was also a focus on expanding sorting centers and increasing investment in infrastructure that supports the nation’s digital economy vision. Qatar Post is working on developing smart digital solutions to facilitate delivery processes and track shipments. This includes testing electric vehicles, recycling paper and plastic, and replacing 30% of small trucks with motorcycles.
In conclusion, the forum highlighted Qatar Post’s ongoing efforts to provide continuous support to both the government and private sectors through innovative and effective logistical strategies. This includes partnerships with local and international companies in e-commerce and international shipping, in collaboration with Qatar Airways.
