This comes as part of the agreement with Federation International de Football Association (FIFA) under which Qatar Post became the official Licensee for stamps category for the tournament that will be hosted by Qatar this year.
Similar to the previous issues, the launch of the Closing Ceremony stamp (is a continuation of the series of publications for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the documentation of all events related to it, celebrations and preparations managed by Qatar to host the tournament. Through distinctive designs, each stamp embodies the unique culture of Qatar that host matches for the first ever FIFA World Cup™ played in an Arab country.
This will be the 11th stamp issue and the last one in the series and the stamp set issue will be sold to the public for QAR 22. As a first stage 30,000 copies, 7,000 envelopes, 6,000 Postcards and 1,000 VIP folders have been printed.
